Summary
The Certified ScrumMaster® course is a two-day certification course that delivers an interactive and engaging learning experience from the most experienced agile trainers around the world. The class provides a hands-on immersion experience through group learning and simulation exercises. What the participants end up with is a heightened understanding of the Scrum framework, Scrum Team accountabilities, Scrum events, and Scrum artifacts. The course also provides students with the knowledge and eligibility to take the Scrum Alliance’s CSM certification exam.
Tamara (Sulaiman) Runyon is a Scrum trainer and enterprise Agile coach with more than 30 years experience in business management and software development.
Tamara has worked with both hardware and software teams at Intel Corporation as an enterprise Agile coach. She has worked with several renowned organizations in the Scrum and Agile industry, including CollabNet, Key Bank, CapitalOne, Washington Mutual, AOL, Gerson-Lehrman Group, GHX, Sandia, BEA, Solutions IQ and many others across the world, focusing on training and coaching ScrumMasters, Product Owners, and Scrum teams.
Tamara has authored and contributed to several industry publications, including being the lead author of the research paper “AgileEVM – Earned Value Management in Scrum Projects”. Her techniques in AgileEVM are now used by major corporations in the defense industry. Tamara is a regular contributor to industry publications such as ProjectManagement.com (formerly Gantthead), The Agile Journal, InfoQ, and Methods & Tools where she publishes her ideas and experiences on Agile project management with Scrum.
As an educator and coach, Tamara possesses a wide range of professional expertise in assessing and coaching Agile adoptions, as well as training and mentoring teams, Scrum Masters and Product Owners who are new to Agile and the Scrum Framework.

- Exam name – Certified Scrum Master Examination
- Exam format – Multiple choice; Multiple select
- Exam delivery – Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed
- Exam duration – Once the exam begins, candidates have 60 minutes (1 hour) to complete the exam
- Number of questions – 50
- Passing score – 37 out of 50 (74%)
- Language – English
- Retake policy – The CSM Exam limit is a maximum of two attempts which can be taken within 90 days. In case one fails to qualify even after the second attempt, there is the provision of retaking the exam by paying an extra amount.

What is the annual renewal fee?
- Certifications expire one year from the date the certification is earned.
- Renewal fee is $100
What is the cancellation policy on this?
In order to provide the most experienced instructors and a superior classroom environment, we must ask you to adhere to our cancellation policy. If it is necessary to cancel or reschedule this registration, please notify us immediately. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- A full refund can be claimed 30 days prior to the class start date.
- No refund will be allowed within 30 days from the class start date, however students may reschedule to another class within one year of the cancellation date.
- No reschedules allowed within 7 business days unless its an unforeseen circumstances.
- In the event any cancellation occurred due to low enrollment or unforeseen natural events, ATC will issue a 100% refund.
