Summary
This two-days course will provide you with the knowledge necessary to organize around value for optimal business results, implement Lean-Agile program portfolio management, governance, and budgeting. We will also teach you how to use and apply the Portfolio Kanban system to accelerate value flow to the programs. Learn all about setting up, aligning, and implementing several projects at the same time, ensuring they all fit together as part of one whole focused on achieving strategic goals. You will understand how the principles and practices accelerate Value Flow and support Lean-Agile Program Portfolio Management, Governance, Lean-Agile Budgeting, and Software Capitalization and get the resources you need to implement Lean-Agile Portfolio Management.
Dr. Baxter’s extensive experience and skills in Agile methodologies and IT leadership have enabled him to successfully transition teams from Waterfall to Agile methodologies, resulting in significant cost savings and improved team productivity.
His expertise in various Agile frameworks, including Scrum, KanBan, SAFe, LeSS, Spotify, and Scrum at Scale, coupled with his proficiency in engineering practices, has enhanced business operations and improved team morale. As a seasoned senior IT leader with over twenty-five (25) years of professional IT experience, he has served as an Agile Consultant, Enterprise Agile Coach, Scrum Master, SAFe Program Consultant, Product Owner, and Director of IT in various domains.

- However, the following prerequisites are highly recommended:
- Familiarity with Agile concepts and principles
- Attended Leading SAFe or SAFe PM/PO course
- Experience working in a SAFe environment
Exam Deails

- Exam name – SAFe® 6 Lean Portfolio Manager Exam (6)
- Exam format – Multiple choice; Multiple select
- Exam delivery – Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed
- Exam access – Candidates can access the exam within the SAFe Community Platform upon completion of the Lean Portfolio Management course
- Exam duration – Once the exam begins, candidates have 90 minutes (1.5 hours) to complete the exam
- Number of questions – 45
- Passing score – 32 out of 45 (71%)
- Language – English
- Exam cost – First exam attempt is included as part of the course registration fee if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion. Each retake attempt costs $50.
- Retake policy – Second attempt on exam (first retake) can be done immediately after first attempt. Third attempt requires a 10-day wait. Fourth attempt requires a 30-day wait.

What is the annual renewal fee?
- Certifications expire one year from the date the certification is earned.
- Renewal fee is $100
What is the cancellation policy on this?
In order to provide the most experienced instructors and a superior classroom environment, we must ask you to adhere to our cancellation policy. If it is necessary to cancel or reschedule this registration, please notify us immediately. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- A full refund can be claimed 30 days prior to the class start date.
- No refund will be allowed within 30 days from the class start date, however students may reschedule to another class within one year of the cancellation date.
- No reschedules allowed within 7 business days unless its an unforeseen circumstances.
- In the event any cancellation occurred due to low enrollment or unforeseen natural events, ATC will issue a 100% refund.

What about Professional Development Units (PDUs) and Scrum educational units?
Attendees may be eligible to apply for 24 PDUs toward their continuing education requirements with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for PMP, PgMP, and PMI-ACP certifications. Also, attendees may be eligible to apply for SEUs under category C, toward earning or renewing their CSP through Scrum Alliance.
